Over the past few weeks, I’ve been seeing more and more people asking about a potential Valorant rank reset. The short answer is that I don’t know when (or if) this will happen, but I wanted to share with you all that I have found out so far.
Here is best time for reset your Valorant Rank:
· The Valorant ranked competitive queue
The Valorant ranked competitive queue is the culmination of many players’ competitive experiences in Riot Games’ upcoming tactical shooter. It’s a new mode that can be accessed from the main menu, and it uses a separate currency called Valor to play it.
Valorant is similar to other popular games like Overwatch or Fortnite in many ways — there are different characters with different abilities to choose from, you gain experience over time (known here as PvE), and you can compete against other players online. It’s more like those games than normal League of Legends gameplay because it uses its own ruleset — instead of just using characters based on those found in LoL itself, Valorant also uses entirely new heroes designed specifically for this new game mode.
· What Rank Reset Would Mean
A rank reset would mean the end of season one and could also mean a new season start. However, it could also mean nothing at all. It is up to Riot to decide what they will do with Valorant rank mode, so we can only speculate until then.
· And How Long Do Seasons Typically Last?
The length of each season is typically about 6 months, so if there was a rank reset, it would probably be at the end of the season. A rank reset usually happens in or around March or April. If you’re wondering how long your Valorant account has been active.
If you’ve been playing for less than 6 months but have reached Diamond level at any point during that time period (meaning you’ve hit “Diamond Rank”), your highest achieved rank will be saved as Diamond Level 1 instead of its previous maximum level (which was Platinum). If a reset occurs during this time period and you haven’t achieved higher than Platinum yet, then your new highest achieved rank will be Platinum Level 1!
· Do We Know If Valorant Will Have a Rank Reset?
As of now, Riot has not commented on whether Valorant ranked mode will have a rank reset. This means it’s unclear if one is coming or not. We can only speculate at this point, but we’re optimistic! If a rank reset does happen, it may not happen until after Worlds concludes in November.
· If a rank reset is coming, when will it happen?
There is no official announcement from Riot Games on whether Valorant ranked mode will have a rank reset, which means we don’t know if one is coming or not.
What we do know is that in previous seasons of League of Legends, a rank reset has happened about every two months. If you’re worried about missing the next ranking period and want to get into the top 100 before it starts again, make sure you play your 10 placement games as fast as possible.
· Riot has not commented on whether Valorant ranked mode
Riot has not commented on whether Valorant rank mode will have a rank reset, which means we don’t know if one is coming or not.
However, it is worth noting that Riot’s other two recently released new game modes (Dark Star and Nexus Blitz) both had their own separate leaderboards. With that in mind, there’s a chance they could do the same thing here with Valorant.
Conclusion
Valorant Mode is a brand-new ranked game mode for League of Legends. It is the second ranked game mode Riot has released in 2019, and it brings a heavy focus on teamwork and communication to competitive play. We will update this post as soon as we know more about a potential Valorant rank reset.
